Howdy, folks. Yes, I know, I know. I’ve left you all hanging on the promise of an author blog for over a year, and now I’m only making a post with more promises of things to come in the future. I’m still working out what to do with an online blog that isn’t full of personality quizzes and hockey rants like my old LiveJournal. But as this is supposed to be a touch point for my writing, I’ll try to stay on topic vis à vis what I’m writing, reading, and what’s going on with my books (though I’m open to suggestions as to anything people are interested in me covering here).

But wait, Sarah, some of the more observant among you might be saying. You just said “books” in that last run-on sentence. Of course, most of the public face of my writing is still The God’s Wife, but I am plugging along on the sequel and I’m sure many of the upcoming posts will be devoted to that story because I am very excited to share it with all of you as soon as possible. Stay tuned — but until then, enjoy a little sneak peek at a corner of the cover art to get you psyched for that. Buckle up, people, we’re heading back to Rome!
