I’m an accidental serial novelist who loves books, writing, historical minutiae, and talking about all of them at great length. I also have notebooks full of poetry I’d love to show you - because my muse still thinks verse is viable career path.
As for the academic background that led me down this lifelong wormhole of intersecting interests, I have B.A in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh, with a certificate in Medieval & Renaissance Studies, and a minor in History. All of which I’m currently using more than the J.D. I received from Case Western Reserve University. And to publicly answer the most delightful interview question I’ve ever received, no, the medieval certificate does not mean I am some kind of licensed Ren Fair artist (sadly). It mostly means that I took so many classes in undergrad about Chaucer, Islamic history, Italian art, and the Tudors that someone felt like they had to do something about it.
